While the literal translation of 'Viridis' denotes the colour green, it also emphasises playful buoyancy and evokes visions of lively, abundant vegetation. Green echoes throughout this exhibition – a dreamscape of a temporal realm. Viridis draws upon the artist’s connection with the Suffolk landscape where she grew up. Interwoven with memories of these places and art historical influences, the exhibition presents a world where nature becomes sanctuary and source.
